The Distribution Center Management System is installed throughout the 19 Distribution Centers in Canada.

This system is used to track the several pieces of information. This includes the volume of product shipped, received, and the number of hours to accomplish these tasks. Additionally the freshness of the product, returns and inventory variance are tracked.

Additional items that require follow up are tracked, such as the top 5 products that are not getting shipped correctly, and 'Hot Sheet' items that need to be addressed.

The information collected is used at each Distribution Center, as well as being sent to Frito Lay Head Office in Mississauga for use in the Distribution Center Ranking System.
